George Manville Fenn letters to E. Howard and contract memorandum, 1889-1890.

The collection consists of sixteen letters from Fenn to Howard and a memorandum of a publishing agreement between the two. The letters, 1889-1890, with some undated, chronicle Fenn's interaction with Howard concerning the serial publication of a story, and some suggestions of other stories that Howard might be interested in publishing. The memorandum refers to an agreement made 15 April 1889 for Fenn to write a new and original story, "The Mynn's Mystery," for Howard to publish serially in Wit & Wisdom.
